Rodney is Managing Principal of Sterling Bay where he is responsible for sourcing and closing new acquisitions and developments in the Western USA. Prior to joining Sterling Bay, Rod oversaw the Western half of the United States on behalf of KBS Realty Advisors and its affiliate KBS Capital Advisors. Rod was responsible for all activity, including acquisitions, asset management and dispositions. During his time at KBS, Rod oversaw the acquisitions and development of approximately $5 billion in acquisition and development deal volume. Rod was also actively involved in capital raising efforts, including the $1.2B IPO of the Prime Office REIT (Singapore listing) roadshows throughout Asia and trips to the middle east. Prior to KBS, Rod worked in the Mexico City office of Koll/Cushman Realty Mexico (KCRM) and was with Koll’s Southern California Development Group. Rod serves on a variety of industry advisory groups and is a board member of the Southern California chapter of NAIOP.
