A lifelong resident and former Mayor of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Rodney Eagle has been with Cottonwood Commercial and Kline May Realty for nearly four decades. As a licensed Class A General Contractor, Eagle has built many single- and multi-family homes throughout Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. He also has developed, marketed and sold commercial properties in the area. Eagle, a retired Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, served eight years on Harrisonburg City Council. He has also been a member of the Harrisonburg Planning Commission and was the Chairman of the Central Shenandoah Valley Planning District. He currently serves as Chairman of the Harrisonburg Board of Equalization. Involved in countless area businesses, non-profits and social and charitable organizations, Eagle is well known as the owner and operator of Eagle Carpet which has been in business for over 52 years. He and his wife Sylvia enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren.
