Bio
Rocky grew up in the small community of Mims, Florida, on the edge of the historic Indian River Lagoon. Working in citrus groves as a young man, fishing and hunting when he could, Rocky learned the value of hard work and developed a passion for the land. He worked his way through the University of Central Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
As a licensed general contractor, Rocky has been involved in construction and development throughout Florida since 1984. He began his career as a homebuilder and the owner of a successful materials installation company. This experience led to a career in development and land management. During the late nineties, he worked with financial institutions, providing evaluation, oversight, and construction services on bank-financed and bank-owned projects.
As a licensed real estate agent since 1983, Rocky has dealt with a wide variety of properties, including agricultural land tracts, sand mines, self-storage facilities, and retail properties. With his deep roots in Florida, he especially enjoys helping families transition their property or conserve their property for future generations.
Real estate is his primary business these days, and Rocky strives to ensure that his client's interests are well served through:
Brokerage Services: Working with buyers and sellers on commercial properties throughout Florida and assisting farm, ranch, and agribusiness owners in buying, selling and managing their assets.
Natural Resource Development & Management Services: Offering strategic advice, planning, site selection, and management services, as well as permitting and entitlement services, for water, mining, timber, conservation, and energy assets located on agricultural lands.
Advisory Services: Providing advice to owners of farms, ranches, and agribusinesses on
development, conservation, implementation, and monetization strategies for land and water.
Rocky resides in Oviedo, Florida, with his wife, LiLi. He has 2 grown boys, Mac and Colson. Rocky has served on the Kiwanis Club of Orlando Foundation Board for the past 4 years and is currently the President of the Kiwanis Club of Orlando. He and LiLi have been extensively involved in foster care programs for many years and continue to foster young children from 0 to 5 years old.
