Roby Gardner began employment at Eastman Chemical Company in the early 1960’s after undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. In addition, Roby continued with graduate studies at East Tennessee State University. Roby retired from Eastman Chemical Company in 2000, after more than 37 years in Supply Chain functions, including Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics and Corporate Planning. He brings an extensive background in customer service and satisfaction to the real estate market.
Roby has developed business start-ups for Eastman Chemical and has a strong sense of value creation that he can pass along to clients.
Roby was born in Mt. Airy, N.C. and grew up in Hillsville, Va. Roby has a son and daughter and 5 grandchildren. He enjoys golf, fishing, NASCAR and UNC sports. Roby and Mary have lived in Kingsport, Charlotte, N.C., Cosoleacaque, Veracruz, Mexico (Roby only) and have resided in Johnson City for the past 14 years.
