Robin is a Senior Vice President at ENCOR Advisors with 25 years of experience in commercial real estate completing lease and acquisition transactions; with a particular focus on the needs of health care, educational and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to joining Devencore Realties, Robin spent 13 years at the University of Toronto; first as a faculty member and then as Director of the Division of Occupational Therapy, in the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Rehabilitation Science Graduate Program Committee. With outstanding capabilities in process/project management, client relationships & negotiation, writing and problem-solving skills, Robin is perceived as a trusted partner who has attracted a loyal following in the not-for-profit sector, completing to date 9 projects for George Brown College, including a 100,000 square foot expansion and relocation; a 73,000 square foot expansion and renewal; purchase of a building; and several smaller lease transactions, all completed at below market rates with highly tenant favourable terms. For 10 years, Robin managed the expansion of the University Health Network’s rehabilitation services, namely, Altum Health, in establishing 10 satellite clinics throughout Ontario as well as several relocations and expansions for the Ontario Telemedicine Network since 2008. Robin also managed the major transactions for the Central East Community Care Access Centres, including the relocation of the Head Office and Whitby Branch to 55,000 square feet in Whitby as well as an initial renewal of 30,000 square feet in Scarborough followed by a relocation to a 33,000 square foot site. Outside of work, Robin is committed to an intense fitness regime comprised of spin and pump classes as well as walking.
