Bio
Mr. Robin Bieker, President of Bieker & Co., has been involved in Los Angeles area properties for over twenty years. He specializes in comercial and industrial properties and tenant representation in downtown Los Angeles. Highly respected for his ability to manage complicated transactions in a challenging marketplace, he also helps clients navigate today''s complex regulatory environment. In a recent transaction with the State of California Department of General Services Mr. Henry Kusaba, Real Estate Director, indicated that: "Robin Bieker worked through a myriad of entanglements on this property. It was an office structure in an area where office users are no longer interested in locating. It had been available for three years when Robin entered the picture. He understood that the change in marketplace required a new use for the facility if it were to be sold. In addition, there were asbestos issues and zoning problems. In each case, Robin worked out creative solutions. Most importantly, he brought us a qualified buyer." In another transaction, Mr. Bieker was hired by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority a joint power authority for both the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County, to locate a property for a high-tolerance drop-in center. Mr. Fred Zepeda, executive director of LAHSA, stated that: "It can actually be said that you (Mr. Bieker) succeeded where the Mayor and I had failed. I thank you, and at the dedication, the Mayor will thank you. You have helped to provide a very needed service to Los Angeles. Robin, you showed an intuitive instinct in comprehending the client''s needs. Your working manner was professional and diligent throughout the process. It is for those reasons that I am now asking you to represent my firm''s Los Angeles Athletic Club interest in another real estate project." In addition to Mr. Bieker''s professional real estate activity in Los Angeles, he is actively involved in numerous organizations. Mr. Bieker was on the Board of Directors of Skid Row Access, a creative outreach for nearly 900 men, women and children from traditionally low-income neighborhoods. For ten years, he has been an officer and on the Board of Directors of Para Los Ninos a highly regarded, non-profit organization serving the needs of the lower economic and disadvantaged children of the community. He is also chairman of Para Los Ninos Properties, Inc., to which he brings invaluable expertise to the acquisition and development of new facilities Additionally, Mr. Bieker is a member of Skid Row Development Corporation''s Transition House Garden Club, and provides a variety of leadership roles at the YMCA of Los Angeles and the American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO), where he is a board member, division coach and team coach. Mr. Bieker brings a balance to the marketing team of diligent workmanship and professionalism.
