Robert Marro, CCIM brings over 25 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, specializing in Hotel/Hospitality and Boutique Resorts across the United States. His career encompasses diverse roles, including serving as an Owner representative involved in site acquisition for development and re-development. Notably, Mr. Marro has also been instrumental in brokering resort transactions, with a specific focus on Luxury Boutique Resorts, extending from the Caribbean to the entire Florida coast.
During a notable 7-year tenure with Trammell Crow Company, Mr. Marro played a key role as part of their prestigious corporate account, ExxonMobil. Assigned to develop a Network plan for the America South region, this expansive responsibility covered 13 islands in the Caribbean, 5 countries in Central America, and 3 countries in South America. Over several years, Mr. Marro and his team averaged over 50 acquisition and disposition transactions annually, reaching an impressive dollar volume exceeding $100 million each year.
Subsequently, Mr. Marro transitioned to work as a Real Estate representative for Value Place extended stay hotels. Recognized as the fastest-growing hotel brand in America at the time, his proficiency in acquisitions, analysis, and dispositions of non-performing assets propelled him to the position of Vice President of Real Estate within just 10 months. Despite the challenges posed by the financial market in 2008, Mr. Marro and his team consistently exceeded company expectations until all expansion plans were halted.
Responding to market shifts, Mr. Marro joined Marcus & Millichap as Senior Associate Director, National Hospitality Group. In this capacity, he provided a national platform for buyers and sellers, achieving unmatched success. Rob’s contributions included assisting sellers and purchasers in swiftly, smoothly, and profitably attaining their financial objectives. His multifaceted career reflects a deep understanding of the commercial real estate landscape and a consistent ability to navigate diverse challenges.
