Robert S. Heicklen is a Senior Vice President with Thor Retail Advisors. Mr. Heicklen has focused his professional career on retail services, working with national and regional retailers and landlords throughout New York City and Long Island. Prior to joining Thor Retail Advisors, Mr. Heicklen spent over three years with Winick Realty Group. He represented many of the company’s high profile clients in the Greater New York area, completing transactions on behalf of such recognized brands as Duane Reade, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Kay Jewelers, Jersey Mike’s Subs and AT&T. He is also experienced in landlord representation, and has worked with numerous property owners including The Mattone Group, Red Apple Group, Stahl Organization, Benenson Capital and Ascend Builders. Mr. Heicklen attributes much of his career success to a passion for retail and architecture. Before turning to real estate, he gained valuable hands-on experience cultivating new relationships and interpersonal sales skills as co-founder of a clothing and accessories company based in Great Neck, New York. In 2015, he was recognized by the New York Real Estate Journal “Young and Established” spotlight. Mr. Heicklen studied international business and received a BS in economics from Queens College. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York.
