Crown Realty & Development President, Robert A. Flaxman's almost twenty year career in commercial real estate began in 1979 with the development and management of a 500,000 square foot enclosed mall in Fergus Falls, MN. After pursuing and completing graduate studies, Mr. Flaxman returned to the commercial real estate field in 1988 as an acquisition partner with American Investment Group, where he spent five years managing portfolio additions for the firm.
In 1994, Mr. Flaxman with Mr. Jaime Sohacheski founded Crown Realty & Development and became its acting president and Chief Executive Officer. Under Mr. Flaxman's direction Crown Realty & Development has completed to date over $250 million in acquisitions and developments, including over 750,000 square feet of retail space and 1.2 million square feet of office space.
