Rob Ury is a Senior Vice President at Beta and a 14-year veteran in the retail real estate industry. Rob has worked with many prominent restaurant and retail brands and has represented many property owners throughout Los Angeles and Southern California.
Mr. Ury has worked with a number of notable brands, including Adidas, Sephora, Uniqlo, sweetgreen, CorePower Yoga, Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, Mendocino Farms Sandwich Market, Sonos, La Colombe Coffee Roasters, Bonobos, Oakley, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Asics, Flywheel Sports, J. Jill, Kriser’s Natural Pet, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, OneWest Bank, Pei Wei Asian Diner, and Veggie Grill.
Rob’s property owner clients have included ASB Real Estate Investments, CIM Group, Federal Realty Investment Trust, Rockwood Capital, Simms Commercial Development, Topa Management Company and West Coast Investors, along with several individual owners and family trusts.
Rob has arranged more than 275 lease transactions in Southern California since the start of his real estate career. Among the most significant were the negotiation of Uniqlo’s 15,460-square-foot lease at The Bloc in DTLA, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams’ 11,400-square-foot Beverly Hills Flagship store on North Beverly Drive; Adidas’ 6,681-square-foot flagship store on Third Street Promenade; the 5,901-square-foot Adidas Originals store on iconic Abbot Kinney Boulevard; Oakley’s 3,000- square-foot Santa Monica flagship store on Third Street Promenade; ULTA’s 11,746-square-foot lease in Rancho Santa Margarita on behalf of Fortus Property Group; and Urban Outfitters Surplus’ 8,700-square-foot lease in Sherman Oaks on behalf of West Coast Investors.
Prior to joining Beta, Rob spent over 9 years at Newmark Knight Frank/RKF in Santa Monica. Rob began his retail real estate career with California Commercial Partners, Inc. in Newport Beach.
As a lifetime Southern California resident, Rob’s market knowledge is vast and nuanced. He takes pride in seeing situations through the eyes of his clients and finding solutions to challenging problems.
