Rob Rodriguez is a serial entrepreneur in the health care service sector and recently completed the sale of his company to a multi-national, multi-billion dollar corporation. Through the years, his companies employed several hundred people throughout the healthcare and service industry and because of his dedication to his work and the community, Rob and his company have received numerous recognitions. These include Chairman of the Year from the Texas Association for Home Care, the Community Excellence Award from the Alamo Asian-American Chamber of Commerce, 2009 Minority Health Care Firm of the Year Award and the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2010 & 2011 Top 50 Private Companies and Best Places to Work.
Mr. Rodriguez is a strong advocate for business and the real estate community. He served four years on the City of San Antonio (COSA) Planning Commission and as its Chairman for two. During his Chairmanship, he presided over many key issues that promoted growth and economic development throughout the city and was one of the signatures of record for numerous subdivisions, master development plans, and planned unit developments. He also served on the COSA Small Business Advocacy Committee, COSA Goal Setting Committee, Storm Water Drainage Fee Committee, and the Northside ISD Bond Committee. Rob also served on the Mayor's Small Business Taskforce whose work led to the creation of Cafe Commerce, an innovative incubator & resource bank for small businesses. Currently, Mr. Rodriguez is serving on the Southside First Economic Development Council whose goal is to advocate, encourage, and promote economic prosperity in South Bexar County.
