Rick has been the Broker/Owner of DeLuca Realty since 2001 served Eastern Ohio. Rick served as the 2004 and 2009 President of the Steubenville Area Board of Realtors and was selected as 2004, 2009, and 2013 Steubenville Area "Realtor of the Year." He has also served as the 2017 East Central Association of Realtors Board President and was selected as "Realtor of the Year" in 2017 and again in 2019, '20, '21, '22, '23..
Rick was elected as the OAR District 7 Vice President for the 2008-2009 term. District 7 was later combined with District 6 to form District 4. He has served consecutively as the Ohio Realtors District Vice President, starting his ninth term in 2024. He will have served as a DVP for 18 straight years. He has served on the Ohio Realtors Executive Committee for 17 years and will serve in that capacity through 2024. At the state level, he has served as an executive liaison, chairman, or member of numerous committees, including chair of the Communications, RPAC Trustees, and Strategic Planning Committees. He also served as the chair of the Legal Issues Committee in 2020.
Rick taught the state required Ohio Real Estate classes at Eastern Gateway Community College for six years. He was also the head baseball coach at Bridgeport High School and Buckeye Local High School for a combined 10 years. He was installed into the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Hall of Fame in 2010 and into the East Central Association of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2017.
