As a graduate of Pace University Richard (Rick) Weisman acquired a B.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance. Rick worked in public accounting as well as served as the CFO of private and publicly traded corporations. This journey afforded him experience in Hospital Administration, Battery Manufacturing, Publishing, the Wire and Cable Industry and Real Estate. In 1988 Rick purchased Central X-Ray Lab. This was a New York City Radiology Lab that specialized in medical diagnostics. Over the years, CXR Lab morphed in to Central X-Ray Lab of Manhattan Inc. which services hundreds of NYC Attorneys by providing services related to medical diagnostics in preparation for their Personal Injury lawsuits. In addition the company provides medical archival services to Attorneys, Medical Practices and Insurance Companies.
In 1998 Rick followed a dream and became a New York State Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. Eighteen months later, he secured his NYS Broker’s License. During these past 16 years Rick has worked exclusively in commercial real estate. After purchasing land, sight plan approval and acting as the general contractor during construction, Rick opened Academy Hill Apartments in Chester New York. This complex consists of twenty-six 1 & 2 bedroom garden apartments. At the same time, Rick has represented many clients in the sale and purchase of commercial real estate properties. Rick has also managed construction and renovation projects as well as participated in sight plan approvals for many commercial real estate projects. Over the years and currently, he performs comprehensive real estate management services for clients.
