Richard joined RIPCO Real Estate in 2005 and is a Vice Chairman, Partner, and manager of the Manhattan office. Richard’s expansive experience in both tenant and owner representation spans over 16 years, and he has been influential in helping shape new retail corridors along the Lower East Side, Bowery, Meatpacking District, and West Village.
His extensive landlord experience includes representing prestigious firms like Magnum Real Estate, Real Estate Equities, Friedland Properties, Dalan Management, The Moinian Group, Rockwood Capital, Jenel Management, the Olnick Organization, Premier Equities, Madison Capital, Taconic Investment Partners, as well as single asset owners and cooperatives.
Richard’s deep knowledge of local submarkets, and his ability to guide clients and implement strategies, has helped him secure both national US-based tenants such as Target, and international tenants like Flying Tiger, seeking to enter the New York City market. Richard’s tenant relationships span a wide range – from luxury brands to off-price retailers, his clients include TJX Companies, Target, One Kings Lane, Vuori, Flying Tiger, Il Makiage, AMI Paris, Blue & Cream, RtA, KYU Restaurants and Planta restaurants.
Richard is a licensed salesperson, a member of the Real Estate Board of New York’s Retail Committee, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
