Richard is a native Washingtonian, with over 40 years of commercial real estate experience.
In 1983, Richard joined the Washington, D.C. office of Barnes, Morris & Pardoe, Inc. (now CBRE).
In 2002, Richard launched McBride Real Estate Services, Inc. and grew the firm into one of the top tenant rep companies in Washington, D.C.
In 2015, Richard launched SwingSpace LLC, an online application streamlining the search, negotiation and leasing for small office space.
Richard has been responsible for lease negotiations on behalf of many leading law firms, associations, financial institutions and corporations in Washington, D.C. and nationally. His proprietary financial analyses have been recognized as being “Best in the Business” by numerous national clients.
