Ric received his undergraduate degree from Sydney University, Australia and his master’s from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. After teaching and coaching soccer, swimming, golf, and tennis for 7 years, he entered the real estate industry in Riverdale, south of Atlanta and was Rookie of the Year and a top agent for 5 years. He earned his Broker’s License and started Southern Cross Realty, overseeing as many as twenty-five agents and three new developments until moving to Texas in 1985. Ric knew from an early age that someday he would live in Texas after watching John Wayne movies on Saturday afternoons.
