Began working at Colliers in 2006, where her work has grown to include representation of small and large developers, retirement funds, banking institutions and individual property owners in the leasing and/or sales of their properties throughout the Bay Area. She has also represented national, regional, and local companies as tenants. Her experience with both sides of the retail real estate transaction has given Her an understanding of the negotiation process and the ability to negotiate successfully on behalf of her clients. Her aim is always to optimize her client’s success by streamlining the transaction process, identifying challenges in advance, and negotiating each deal with strength, transparency and attention to detail. Moreover, she seeks solutions beyond traditional retail tenant mixes through in-depth research--including a commitment to a thorough understanding of her client’s needs at the street level, identifying shopping trends, with consideration of issues such as the impact of public transportation, current job climate, ecommerce, and the community interest. Because of her interest in the impact of real estate transactions on the community as a whole, she was invited to join the Retail Strategy Team for the City of Oakland, whose goal was to evaluate city-wide retail opportunities in order to create more vibrant urban infill, to increase sales tax revenue and expand the job market.
