Ramy Eidi is the founder and CEO of Eidi Properties where he leads a team of highly qualified professionals specializing in commercial real estate investment and management. As the founder of Eidi Properties, Ramy has completed commercial real estate investment transactions valued in excess of hundreds of millions of dollars.
In the two decades since he created his company, Ramy has gone from owning a 2,700 square foot corner tavern to bringing Eidi Properties’ current portfolio to more than 1.5 million square feet of prime retail space. The company’s holdings currently stand at 40 shopping centers with more than 400 tenants.
Eidi Properties has been featured in several real estate trade magazines including Shopping Centers Today and France Media Heartland Publication, as well as being recognized nationally in The New York Times.
Ramy is dedicated to giving back through philanthropic deeds. He has been recognized both for his continuous contributions and donations — from launching the $100,000 Small Business Challenge that inspired and supported entrepreneurs to donating $1.5 million to ProMedica Health initiative that funds research and programs targeting income, education, housing, and food insecurity. He, and his wife Faye, were awarded the 2019 Philanthropist of The Year By The ProMedica Foundation. He gives directly and generously to projects on the local, national and international stage. A few examples include, the Salvation Army, The Toledo Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Family House, Diabetes Youth Services, The Posada Emergency Shelter, and the Mehdi “Danny” Eidi Centre in Lebanon, which provides much needed medical care to women, children, the elderly, and refugees.
Ramy attended Sylvania Northview High School and The University of Toledo where he studied business, with a focus on finance. He is a recipient of the Sylvania Academic Excellence Foundation’s 25th Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame honoree and he, and his wife, recently served as the 2018 Honorary hosts of Lourdes University’s premiere scholarship fundraising event, Lumination.
Mentorship and providing guidance to young entrepreneurs is one of Ramy’s greatest passions and he often allots his free time to assisting those who seek his counsel.
When he isn’t working, Ramy is spending quality time with his family, which is his priority in life. He and his wife, along with their three boys, spend most of their weekends at sporting events whether it’s a baseball field or a rowing event.
When it comes to success, Ramy encourages everyone to never fear taking chances. He often quotes his two favorite creeds, “Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit” and that “There are no limitations to the mind except those that we acknowledge.”
