Bio
Philip Sewell II, is a graduate of Center College with a BA in Economics. Sewell started his commercial real estate career with a Lexington firm in 1988. From this experience he gained the knowledge and resources necessary to launch Sewell Commercial Brokerage and Development in 1999.
Sewell possesses extensive knowledge as well as an all encompassing expertise in all aspects of commercial real estate markets. Throughout his career he has worked with several major national tenants in obtaining market leases as well as representing/managing over 1/2 million SF of commercial properties.
To date, Sewell has been the exclusive representative for Dollar Tree Stores for the Kentucky market. Sewell with partners, also re-developed an existing K-Mart in Lexington where he successfully procured an Alltel lease of 60,000 SF and a Goodwill lease of 40,000 SF. Other developments include a multi-premise area in Lawrenceburg, KY with multi-year leases executed with Rite Aid, Taco Bell, and Huddle House.
In addition to being an active member of numerous commercial property organizations, Philip is active in his local church as well as maintaining a position of leadership in the local chapter of Bible Study Fellowship.
