For almost 40 years, Phil has been working with investors, providing guidance and expertise in the analysis and disposition of real estate assets. He has worked for some of the top brokerages in the nation, including Prudential, Merrill Lynch and Coldwell Banker. Phil started his career in real estate at Coldwell Banker, from 1977-1980 where as a sales associate he quickly distinguished himself from other agents. From 1980-1982 Mr. Seymour was manager for the Merrill Lynch Realty Woodland Hills office. With approximately 88 sales agents, he was able to increase sales and perpetuate the success of that office. Phil then became Executive Vice President of D.G.M. Financial/Properties where he developed their Commercial and Residential divisions from 1982-1984, after which he became sales manager of the Commercial/Investment Division for Prudential California Realty, in their Beverly Hills office, where he was consistently a top producer. While at Prudential, Phil was an original member of the Prudential’s California Realty’s 100 Club (the Top 100 out of 4,000 agents for earnings in the company). In 1993, he joined Elite Properties Realty, one of the leading real estate brokerages in California, as Executive Vice President-Managing Director. Phil contributed his expertise on the sale of assets in receivership as a panelist at “Loyola II”, the California Receivers Forum 2-day instructional seminar at Loyola Law School. The Seymour Group/Elite Properties Realty is a member of the Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter of the California Receivers Forum and the California Bankruptcy Forum. Before his career in the field of real estate, Phil spent years honing his skills as a musician. He has played drums with many of the music industry’s heavyweights, including Sammy Davis, Jr. Phil’s experience as a musician contributes to keeping his team in harmony and his clients deals in sync and moving forward.
