Peter Hennessy is an industry veteran with more than two decades of experience in tenant representation and corporate real estate. As vice chairman based in Savills North American headquarters in New York City, Peter will advise clients on strategic real estate solutions throughout the New York Tri-State region. Peter offers a wealth of expertise and a sterling track record in tenant representation. His keen understanding of his clients’ needs and his insights into the New York market derive from a career dedicated to advising a wide range of major corporations, professional service firms, government agencies and financial institutions on their real estate strategies. His diverse client base has included the State of New York, the National Football League, the City of New York, Guggenheim Partners, The School Construction Authority, Disney/ESPN, the National Hockey League, Texaco, Mobil Corporation, Time Inc., GE Capital. Simons Foundation, NYCHA, College Board, NYC School Construction Authority (SCA), Bond Collective and Eldridge. As a business leader, Peter has been responsible for the overall strategic focus on business development, recruiting talent, growing key client relationships and profitability of all business units. Prior to joining Savills, he was an executive vice chairman at Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ and Cassidy Turley) for three years. Before Cushman & Wakefield’s merger with DTZ, he served as president of the New York Tri-State Region, overseeing a team of nearly 400 people. Before joining Cassidy Turley, Peter was international director of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc., a position he assumed in 2008 after the company’s merger with The Staubach Company, where he had served as president of the New York Tri-State region for 10 years.
