Peter was born and raised in western Maine. After obtaining a BS degree in marketing from Husson University, he worked for 13 years in the management division of a national retail chain. The job moved him around the east coast from Pennsylvania to Maine, but he always returned to Maine each summer, especially the town of Winter Harbor in the beautiful Schoodic area of Maine. While at Husson, Peter met his future wife Sandy, a native of Winter Harbor.
