Bio
Mr. Ruda has been active leasing commercial real estate since 1977. Throughout the 1980’s until 1995, while operating Perry Ruda & Co. and The Real Estate Group, Inc., Perry personally negotiated leases with combined lease values of more than $1 billion, and, amassed a Client list that includes numerous Fortune 500 companies, such as: DuPont, AT&T, MetLife, Verizon, Walgreens, Prudential Financial, Merck, Dish Networks, Tenneco, Borg Warner, Sprint, and many more. The properties involved are in 27 states across the US. In the mid-1990’s Mr. Ruda founded and served as Chairman and CEO, of US RealTel (Nasdaq, USRT) a real estate company focused on master-leasing the telecommunications placement rights in office, retail, and industrial buildings throughout the United States and South America, and subleasing them to telecommunications companies. After aggregating 35,000 such property rights, USRT was taken public by Lehman Brothers. The company then sold its US operations to Spectra Site (Nasdaq, SITE). Later USRT acquired and changed its name to Cypress Communications (Nasdaq, CYCO). In 2001, the company was sold to and taken private by a private equity firm. In the years following the sale of CYCO, Mr. Ruda accepted consulting assignments from several large companies at their board and C-levels, to advise them regarding their real estate strategies. These companies requested Mr. Ruda’s assistance because of his reputation for solving unique real estate puzzles / problems. Mr. Ruda founded Nationwide-RE, to serve the multi-state real estate requirements of small and large companies throughout the United States and Canada.
