Bio
Penny’s career includes a broad range of public and private sector experiences. Prior to starting SCRE, Penny spent two years at the Bank of Boston in their Multinational Corporate Lending Group. Subsequently, Penny joined Harvard University as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Latin American Scholarship Program, responsible for financial planning and management, compliance, and personnel.
Penny began her commercial real estate career in 1993 and formed Saugatuck Commercial Real Estate in 2004. She has extensive experience in multiple sectors of the industry representing landlords, developers, tenants, buyers, and sellers throughout the Northeast and Florida. While remaining active in office, retail and industrial brokerage, Penny is especially well-regarded for her success in the retail sector. Notable clients include Barry’s Bootcamp, Charles Schwab, Aldi, Massage Envy, Jersey Mike’s, Lennar Multifamily, Regency Centers, RFR, Kimco, Seritage, Priceline, Janus Funds, Crius Energy. Under Penny’s leadership, SCRE has earned wide-spread respect as a top-quality brokerage firm.
In 2020, Penny rolled out the SCRE Emerging Brand Development (EBD) consulting platform. The EBD team is focused on driving growth solutions for our innovative, market forward clients.
Penny is a graduate of Smith College and received her MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business. Penny is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Florida.
