Paul A. Lynn, CCIM joined Hilco Real Estate in 2014, but has been involved in the sales and marketing of commercial real estate for 40+ years. Paul brings to Hilco 25+ years’ experience providing real estate auction and accelerated marketing techniques associated with major national firms. Throughout his career, Paul’s expertise has been focused in accelerated real estate investment sales and leasing of all types of commercial, residential, land, government surplus sites, and special purpose properties, representing an aggregate value totaling over $1 billion. Paul’s client base includes Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, governmental and quasi-governmental agencies, developers, REITs, international advisory firms, trustees, and other sellers. Paul recently executed multi-property auctions of hundreds of sites for New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and Houston Housing Authority (HHA), which received the Houston Business Journal's Landmark Award for "Best Public/Private Partnership". Paul is widely quoted as an expert on the benefits of accelerated marketing via creative real estate auction methods. He is an active industry educator and a frequent speaker on real estate auction fundamentals, addressing professional and trade organizations locally, regionally and nationally. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles that have appeared in real estate magazines and columns for various trade publications. Paul is a licensed real estate broker in Texas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Florida, and Louisiana and a licensed auctioneer in Texas. He has been a CCIM Designee for over 25 years and has served in numerous leadership roles for the CCIM Institute at the national level. Paul has served locally, regionally and nationally as a member and in leadership positions for many Realtor® Associations and other professional and community organizations which include ICSC, CORENET Global, TMA, RMA, NAA, TAA, ULI, CREN, and NAIOP.
