At Shuwa Corp., he was Senior VP responsible for all operational aspects of a 3,500,000 SF East Coast portfolio of Class A office buildings, and the highest-ranking American in this major Japanese real estate and development investment firm. Paul Hewitt has listed and sold several income-producing properties including multifamily housing, retail stores and strip shopping centers, ran his own company representing high-profile landlords and tenants in multiple markets nationally and internationally, and served as a consultant and broker managing real estate transactions on behalf of multinational corporations for their own facilities around the world. Those multinational corporations include Deloitte & Touche, the Depuy Synthes Division of Johnson & Johnson, and the international law firm of Covington & Burling.
