Bio
Paul Carrothers has a diverse background in Commercial Real Estate. He has worked both as a Leasing Agent and as a Landlord. Paul knows first-hand how the Landlord thinks and with this unique insight shapes negotiations to his client's benefit. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Ltd. in 1990, (formerly Royal LePage Inc.), Paul honed his negotiating skills working in Calgary’s challenging Commercial Real Estate market of the 1980's. This experience adds to the inventive thinking Paul brings to the table to ensure the client's objectives are fully met and never compromised. He has worked as: Director of Leasing Alberta for a major Canadian real estate firm responsible for an office portfolio over 800,000 square feet Commercial and Industrial Leasing Manager for a major Canadian life insurance company Funding Director British Columbia for a regional commercial mortgage brokerage firm. Corporate Occupiers have been Paul’s focus for 15 years. He has completed tenant lease transactions in all facets of business from Technology Start-Ups to National and Multi-National Corporations. As an in-house advisor, Paul saves management time, leads the premises selection and negotiation, and ensures maximum client value. His goal is to always secure premises that exceed his clients’ expectations. Paul has represented tenants occupying over 1 million square feet and completed lease transactions compiling over 3 million square feet. Through his client’s success he has been awarded the National Award of Excellence and Cushman & Wakefield President’s Round Table (awarded to the firm’s top sales people internationally) on thirteen occasions.
