Tim Gillean is a co-founder and Partner of Cross Equities, LLC and serves as a primary contact for equity investors, lenders, and mortgage & investment brokers. Prior to the formation of Cross Equities, Tim served as Partner with Cross Development since 2004. He was responsible for overall asset underwriting, property acquisitions, capital structuring / financing for the firms development projects as well as Cross' asset dispositions and refinancing. His expertise lies in managing, renovating and maximizing the operating potential of multi-family projects throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth market and abroad. Tim has been involved in and financed US based land purchases, condominium developments, multi-family re-developments, retail developments as well as Mexico based hotel & resort developments and land acquisitions. Tim has extensive experience in salvaging underperforming properties by increasing occupancy and rental rates. Mr. Gillean founded in 1995 and concurrently operates Granite Redevelopment LLC (formerly Gillean Properties Ltd.), a leading redevelopment firm specializing in management rehabilitating residential and multi-family investment properties. Prior to entering the Commercial Real Estate industry, Tim was with Northwest Financial Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas, degreed in Real Estate Finance.
