Bio
Omar started his career in retail leasing with Verity Commercial and shortly after joined the Retail Occupier Services group under the Global Corporate Services branch of Newmark Knight Frank. As a part of the Retail Occupier Services group Omar was responsible for regional rollouts of national credit tenants such as Sprint and For Eyes. As an outsourced real estate manager, Omar managed the site selection process, negotiations, and oversaw the construction of each location until opening day.
Prior to joining Segall Group, Omar worked as a leasing associate for JBG Smith where he was responsible for lead generation, transaction and asset management, and strategic dealmaking to maximize revenue for the JBG portfolio.
Omar graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelors of Science in Sports and Exercise Science with two minors in Biology and Psychology, and made Dean’s List honors. Omar speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys working out in his free time.
