Nelvin Joseph Adriatico came to this country as an immigrant from the Philippines and established his roots in Houston. He firmly believes that through collaboration and hard work, nothing is impossible. He founded Adriatico & Associates Brokerage and Services, a Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Development firm offering insurance, Property Management, and Business Consulting. He is currently involved in multiple real estate projects including the construction of a Chevron Gas Station in Rosenberg Tx, which is scheduled for its grand opening on June 16th, 2023. Development of 2 million-dollar single-family homes located in midtown, and currently in the planning stage to build a shopping center, 60 townhomes in Katy, and 39 student homes in the College Station area. Although Nelvin has an entrepreneurial spirit with a banking and finance mindset, his passion for community advocacy and volunteerism has shown throughout the past 20 years. He has been involved in non-profit organizations serving the community. His bi-cultural background and focus on community collaboration and engagement have led to several Board Leadership Roles. Including Chairman of the Board of The Alliance, helping Immigrants/Refugees become self-efficient. Past President of Asian American Heritage Association (APAHA); Houston Royal Oaks Lions Club, Philippine American Chamber of Commerce Texas; and Past-Co Chair of the Mayors Advisory for the New Americans. Adriatico has also helped organize several programs and projects; One of the biggest is the Annual Back to School, Health Fair, and Business Expo celebrating its 16 years, Adopt a Mom, Adopt a Family Christmas Program for 14yrs, Calamity and Relief Effort for Disaster and Impacted community both local and international to name a few. Because of his community advocacy, He was awarded the Asian Chamber of Commerce Community Ambassador Award, the Fresh Spirit Wellness Legacy Unsung HERO Award, the Lions Club Jack Wiech Fellow Award, and the Texas Association of Realtors Community HERO Neighborhood Award. And most recently, he received and was awarded, The Texans Quarterback Community Award presented by The Houston Texans Foundation, BHP, and United Way, at the NRG Stadium last year. He ran for Public Office and became the nominee for the General Election last November hoping to make history as the First Filipino Asian American to be elected as Texas State Representative for House District 28. Adriatico is married to Avinash Thadhani, and they live with their son AJ, a graduate of U of H, and their dog, Bella.
