Neil's road to Brooklyn was circuitous when he arrived with his car and maxed out credit card. He moved from Boston, where he had been living for the previous two years while pursuing his MBA from Northeastern University. Prior to that, he lived in Washington, DC, where by the age of 25, he grasped the excitement, challenges, and rewards of a career in real estate through his work as a co-developer of a nine-unit residential condominium, owner/occupant of a two-family building, and branch manager of a residential real estate firm.
The seeds of his desire to succeed were planted on a dairy farm in rural Wisconsin. One of seven children, Neil developed a hard-working, early-to-rise Midwest work ethic, survival skills that would serve him well later in life. His interest in public policy was stimulated by courses at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, from which he graduated magna cum laude in 1980, with a BA in Political Science. These twin pillars have anchored his life.
In 2012, after two-and-a-half decades of experience, including earning "Deal of the Year" recognition from the Real Estate Board of New York and being elected to a partnership position in a well respected firm, Neil established Lipinski Real Estate Advisors.
As a boutique real estate advisory firm, Lipinski Real Estate Advisors brings a focus and passion of advocacy to bear on behalf of a limited number of organizations, particularly unions, educational institutions, and not-for-profits.
While appreciative of his experience working for large, full-service commercial real estate firms, Neil has embraced the entrepreneurial spirit as a sole proprietor, knowing that what he might not have in big-firm name recognition and services is compensated by his ability to be immediately responsive to clients; to deeply understand and anticipate their needs; and to deliver a superior level of service that exceeds expectations.
