Neil has over 30 years post qualification experience. Prior to setting up Hill Dryburgh, Neil was a Partner with Montagu Evans having been with the firm for 30 years. Neil is an RICS Registered Valuer and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Neil has broad experience in residential and mixed use development land sales (and acquisitions) including acting as strategic property adviser on major estates rationalisation programmes for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (MoD). He has provided specialist advice and negotiation support to public and private sector clients on a range of complex development related instructions as well as having acted as an Independent Expert to determine disputed land values in option agreements.
He also advises on PFI handbacks. Clients have included major public sector bodies including most of Scotland’s NHS Boards, The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (MoD), Glasgow City Council, South Lanarkshire Council, Police Scotland and large private sector clients including Landsec, Pernod Ricard and many more.
