EXPERTISE
Mr. Warling has participated in a variety of consulting and brokerage transactions ranging from the sale of investment properties to the sale and lease of commercial, industrial and office buildings, and land and has participated in over 500 transactions, valued at over $1 billion.
CAREER SUMMARY
Neal has represented corporate, entrepreneurial and institutional clients in the acquisition and disposition of their real estate assets. Focusing upon agency leasing and sales of office, research and industrial buildings in Michigan’s Washtenaw County region, Neal also represents Jones Lang LaSalle’s corporate clients in western Michigan, acting in a tenant representation role for companies in Battle Creek, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing.
With over 30 years of brokerage experience, Neal has participated in and managed a wide variety of consulting, lease and sale transactions involving office, research and commercial buildings, totaling over 900 transactions and valued at over $2 billion.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Neal was one of the founding partners of Bluestone Realty Advisors in 2005, where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s strategic planning, training, and day to day operations. Before forming Bluestone, Neal was affiliated with three other nationally recognized real estate firms where he consistently placed in the top 100 producing brokers in the respective companies.
Prior to his career in commercial real estate, Neal was the Executive Assistant of U.S. Congressman Chalmers Wylie of Columbus, Ohio, where he was responsible for managing the daily operations of the district office, including constituent media relations. Neal graduated from Ohio State University with a B.A., and M.A. in Public Administration.
Neal is a member of the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors, (SIOR), a leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists.
Neal’s community activities include serving as a Board Member and President for the Friends of the University of Michigan Art Museum, presiding over that organization during the opening of the new museum in the spring/summer of 2009. He has also served on the Development Board for the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, a growing religious community located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Ann Arbor 2030 District.
