Bio
Nate Jones specializes in the analysis, marketing, and sale of office, industrial, R&D, and retail commercial real estate assets in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving both the private and the institutional capital markets. In addition to serving his core investor clientele, Nate advises lenders on the valuation and the positioning of distressed assets.
Business and Educational Background
Prior to joining the Colliers Investment Services Group (CISG), Nate specialized in tenant representation throughout the Bay Area while working for Spieker Stratmore Commercial, a boutique firm headquartered in San Jose. In addition to representing tenants, Nate performed due diligence and financial analysis for investment opportunities.
Nate completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego where he earned degrees in Economics and Political Science. While at UCSD, Nate was a four year member of the Division I Men’s Volleyball Team and was also an executive board member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.
Nate also has a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) degree from the University of Southern California, where he focused on real estate finance and the development of office, industrial, and retail properties.
Nate was born and raised in Los Gatos and currently resides in San Francisco.
Community Involvement
Nate has shared his volleyball experiences with high school students while head coaching both the men’s varsity volleyball team at Archbishop Mitty and the junior varsity volleyball team at Notre Dame Belmont.
