Bio
Monica Beadleston has been involved with both residential and commercial property at some level for most of her career. Her professional background is in international banking, and she has worked in the financial sector in London, New York, Frankfurt, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Miami and Cairo. She began as a real estate investor with the renovation of an historic 1920’s apartment in Manhattan’s landmark Beekman Place, growing this into a small real estate portfolio in Latin America – of residential properties in mixed-use zones that over time were converted into commercial (office/retail) spaces.
She worked with architects and engineers to transform these properties, always acting as principal designer and project director. Her financial acumen and investor outlook bring a fresh perspective to client relationship management. She has been a Realtor since 2006, combining her Wall Street background in sales/research and experience as an investor to work with both on and off-market properties, both domestically and internationally. She treats every property transaction as if it were her own - and strives to bring her extensive real estate experience as buyer, seller, landlord and designer to each of her clients with passion, precision, perseverance and professionalism.
Monica is fluent in five foreign languages and has a working knowledge of Arabic. She was educated at the Aramco School in Saudi Arabia and the Hotchkiss School in Connecticut. She holds Bachelor of Art degrees in English, German and French literature from Rice University, as well as a Master of Arts degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in International Relations and Economics, from which she also holds language proficiency certificates in French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Her studies at Rice University included art history, and she has studied art at both the Glassell School of Art in Houston and the Saint Martin School of Art in London.
