She has earned the senior designation of Independant Fee Appraisers (IFAS) from the National Association of Independant Fee Appraisers and the GRI certificate for completion of the course of study of the Graduate Realtor Institute. Her professional activities have included terms as past President and past State Director of the Passaic County Board of Realtors, past Vice-President of ICREW (Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women), and past member of ICREW's National Network. Mildred has previously served as a Vice-President of Newmark of New Jersey, commercial brokers.
A long-time resident of Bergen County, former resident of Passaic County, and broker in both areas, Mildred Halpern has a strong knowledge of the commercial/industrial real estate needs and properties in these regions as well as in greater northern New Jersey/New York and beyond.
Mildred's personal involvement in the Bergen County community includes, in part, continued service on the Board of Directors of the Sutton Chamber Music Ensemble and past service as a tutor for the Literacy Volunteers of America. She also served as a volunteer/coordinator with Meals on Wheels and created a Seniors (high school) Visiting Seniors (elders) project within that program.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Mildred attended Sir George Williams College there. She has two daughters and a son, and one granddaughter, and is tremendously proud of all of them.
