Mike Valant joined Newmark in 2011 and has over a decade of experience as a real estate broker. He specializes in cross-market leasing and dispositions in Southeast Michigan with nationwide reach and experience in the office, industrial, capital markets and retail sectors. Mike has been efficient and successful in a broad range of complicated transactions, ranging from large block tenant/agency leasing to multi-million-dollar acquisitions. Representing all sides of a transaction, Mike provides a wealth of knowledge and experience to help client’s work through complex processes, avoid inefficiencies which in turn maximizes returns.
Mike is a self-motivated, process driven professional who prides himself on reputation, efficiency and client satisfaction. His client and team first approach, along with his creative ability to think-outside-the-box to find solutions is oil to the engine of success. After graduating from Eli Broad Business School at Michigan State University, he spent three years working in Chicago, Illinois before relocating back to the Detroit Area.
