Michael Lyle Riggs has worked in Commercial Real Estate since 2003 as an Associate Broker with Arizona Enterprises working on land acquisitions and developments in the South-East Valley, Pinal County and Heber-Overgaard areas, including Riggs Homestead, Riggs Ranch, Summer Place North, and Mountain Shadow Estates. In 2017 Riggs became the Designated Broker for Capital R Commercial Real Estate established in Casa Grande AZ.
Riggs has a career that spans both the public and private sectors. Riggs is and has worked with Burial of Indian Affairs at Gila River. The City of Scottsdale with areas including Scottsdale Sports Complex, Horizon Sports Complex, McCormick Railroad Park and other city sites. Pima County in the Ajo area. and the City of Maricopa with focus on Copper Sky Regional Park. Riggs has been a Project Manager/Estimator for Capital R Construction Inc. and Intertwine Environmental Contractors Inc., an award-winning general and civil contractors, recognized for their 90 day permit to CofO philosophy in the Charter School Industry.
Riggs graduated from Arizona State University in 1991 with a degree in Agri-Business. In 2008, Riggs completed his Masters of Science degree at Arizona State University. Riggs also has a certificate as a Certified Arborist, Certified Playground Safety Inspector, Arizona Certified Landscape Professional, Sustainable Landscape Management certificate, Certified Park and Recreation Professional and is the City of Maricopa’s Qualified Applicator. Riggs has a clean Commercial Class A Drivers license. With a background in Agriculture, construction and development Riggs has a vast working knowledge of a shovel to excavator and sickle to a combine included about every kind of mower in-between.
Riggs is a 4th Generation Arizonian and brings his honest hard working common since approach which he learned from his farming background to every aspect of his life. Riggs donates a great deal of his extra time to youth groups including the Boy Scouts of America, 4-H, and Church Activities. Riggs shares his life with a wonderful wife Camie of 30 years, 3 wonderful children with their spouses and 3 grandchildren.
