Mike Lagoyda joined the Santa Rosa office of Corcoran Global Living in 2017 after moving to Sonoma County to continue his real estate career. For the past eight years, the Los Angeles native was part of a RE/MAX team that covered Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and most of the San Fernando Valley, originally in an administrative position and the last four years as a full-service agent representing buyers and seller for a top-producing team. His real estate experience also includes an office administrative position with Village Properties in Montecito, CA. “I love that every transaction is a unique situation with new people, personalities and challenges,” Mike said. “Buying and selling a home is often the biggest financial decision of a person’s life, and it is rewarding to have the opportunity to help guide our clients through the process.”
“From visiting friends here, I was so attracted to Sonoma County’s quality of life and the great school districts for our kids. We moved to Santa Rosa to become part of a close-knit community and raise our children in a great family environment,” he said.
Mike’s professional background also includes several years in the restaurant business. The former chef was the Garde Manger and Assistant Chef at Amuse Bouche, the only French fine dining restaurant in Simi Valley. He even once prepared the turkey and stuffing for William Shatner’s Thanksgiving dinner.
Earlier in his career Mike held an Account Executive position in outside sales for World Wide Packaging in Woodland Hills, CA, which catered to the cosmetics industry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California at Los Angeles.
When not serving others, Mike remains “a Foodie” yet also enjoys hiking, biking, camping and especially loves spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
