He is a lifelong resident of Texarkana and is married to Sylvia Brossette Ingram. He has one daughter and son-in law, Catherine and Lawson Lawrence, and one stepdaughter, Megan Harrison. He is the son of Wanda and Bob Ingram, also of Texarkana.
