Mike Hauck graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota with an accounting major in 1986. Following college, Mike attended Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated first in his class. Upon graduation from law school in 1989, Mike began practicing law in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he spent seventeen years in private legal practice - the last six as the senior local partner in a multi-office law firm. While in legal practice, Mike represented a number of business and property owners and developed a large network of contacts in the business community. Mike is well versed in the legal issues facing businesses after having practiced extensively in the areas of corporate, real estate, finance, construction, landlord-tenant and employment law.
Mike is a member of the Second Circuit and South Dakota Bar Associations, and he is also a past president of the Sioux Falls Area Crimestoppers and the Sioux Falls Court Appointed Special Advocates program. Mike is also an Ambassador with the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for the Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the South Eastern Development Foundation, the Sales & Marketing Executives of Sioux Falls and the El Riad Shrine.
In addition to acting as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Business Development for NAI Sioux Falls, Mike is a licensed real estate broker working with all types of properties and business opportunities.
