Mr. Cigna joined Cushman and Wakefield of Pennsylvania, Inc., (C&W) as a senior appraiser in November 2004. He was the first employee in the Pittsburgh Valuation & Advisory office.
In 2009, Mr. Cigna was promoted to Associate Director, in 2011 to Director, and in 2018 to Senior Director. Prior to joining C&W, he worked for a Pittsburgh-based mortgage banking firm from 1995 to 2004 as an underwriter and an analyst/originator. His appraisal career began following college in 1991 when he worked for four years at Smail Associates in Bowie, Maryland, appraising properties throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan Area.
Appraisal and analytical assignments have included vacant land, office buildings, industrial properties, shopping centers, regional malls, apartment complexes, automobile dealerships and other commercial, institutional and investment properties, principally in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Mr. Cigna’s experience includes appraising properties in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
