Bio
Mika Mattingly joined the South Florida offices of Colliers International in 2016, playing a pivotal role in the launch of the firm’s Urban Core division.
As co-leader of that division, her team specializes in urban renewal, off-market sales, and strategic property assemblages within the core neighborhoods of South Florida.
With a solid foundation built upon comprehensive market data at the building level, coupled with an innate ability to navigate the intricacies of urban zoning and approvals, Mika has firmly established herself as the preeminent real estate authority within the Downtown Miami area. Her influence has been instrumental in driving the metamorphosis of the market, turning a neglected business corridor into a vibrant hub for both real estate investment and community development.
Through unwavering determination and a sharp acumen for discerning the highest and best use of properties, she has successfully brokered the sale of numerous historic buildings. Many of these structures had languished unused for years, only to be reinvigorated through capital infusion and urban renewal initiatives. Among her notable accomplishments are the sale of landmark edifices such as the Old Post Office, Dade Commonwealth Building, Thomas Center, and Courthouse Tower.
Prior to her tenure at Colliers, Mika played a pivotal role in orchestrating significant property assemblages. Notably, she served as the lead broker representing investor Moishe Mana, a key figure in downtown Miami's real estate landscape. Since 2014, she has orchestrated 53 transactions totaling $306 million, with a focus on commercial properties along East Flagler Street and its environs.
Her journey in real estate commenced in late 2006, with Mika immersing herself in the industry during the twilight of Miami's previous real estate boom. Unfazed by challenges, she persevered, even during lean years, facilitating transactions when the market was slow to recover. As the market regained its momentum, she shifted her attention to emerging neighborhoods within Miami's urban core, becoming renowned for her prescient ability to identify blighted areas poised for exponential growth long before they entered the collective radar.
