Michelle’s association with the Portman companies began in 1997, when she began working with AMC, Inc., which operated AmericasMart Atlanta. In her role as Chief Financial Officer of AMC, Michelle oversaw the accounting, FP&A, treasury/debt, lease administration, legal, technology, and registration functions. Prior to joining AMC, Michelle worked with New World Communications Group as Corporate Controller, and with Ernst & Young, where she focused on assurance services and public sector clients.
Michelle is a member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Account and Information Systems (MAS). Michelle is a Certified Public Accountant.
