I graduated from Texas A & M University, earning a BBA in accounting and obtaining my CPA license in 1985, although I'm not currently practicing. My professional journey includes serving as an auditor for one of the then Big 8 accounting firms, as well as gaining experience in private industry. For 25 years, I owned Progress and Hart's Cleaners in Tyler. Throughout this period, I developed a keen interest in real estate, specializing in both residential and commercial properties. Over my career, I've owned dozens of properties, including rentals. My passion extends to "flipping" houses and engaging in new construction. Collaborating with a local builder, I've contributed to the construction of 11 single-family residential properties, both for resale and as personal residences. This partnership has equipped me with valuable insights into home construction, knowledge that I bring to each real estate transaction as a realtor.
