Michael Pontarelli joined Bradford Allen in 2015 as a senior managing director. He is responsible for overseeing the third-party Asset Services practice. His main focus is targeting, securing, and implementing new leasing, management, and asset management assignments. Mr. Pontarelli’s approach to asset management is integrative and engenders a collaborative culture between the management and leasing teams in order to achieve the overall financial and operational goals for each project he oversees.
During his first year at Bradford Allen, the agency practice brought on eight new assignments, totaling nearly 1.5 million square feet. Michael also refined various processes, resulting in more efficient execution of asset management and leasing functions of the nearly 5.5 million square feet he oversees, which includes approximately one million square feet of out-of-state office space.
Michael began his real estate career in 1992 as a general manager with MB Real Estate in Chicago. Prior to joining Bradford Allen, Michael also ran his family’s business, Pontarelli and Company, for eleven years; worked for UGL-Equis where he led a team strategically targeting corporate and distressed real estate opportunities; and was the senior vice president/regional manager for Foresite Realty Partners in Rosemont, Illinois.
Michael is married with two daughters and enjoys traveling, golfing, and cooking. He attended the College of Business Administration at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Advertising.
