Bio
As Executive Managing Director, Philadelphia Market Director and Broker Lead, Mike is directly responsible for overall product quality and delivery across all business lines. His focus is on clients, business development, recruiting, and market growth. This includes both Americas and International client relationship management and the direct supervision of both transaction and support professionals. Mike also sets and manages the strategic direction of the Philadelphia regional operations. Beyond his Philadelphia role, Mike serves on JLL’s National Leadership Council, which includes the U.S. broker leads and JLL’s U.S. executive management team.
Mike specializes in global Tenant Representation services, Agency Leasing and Integrated Portfolio Solutions. With global transaction advisory, lease administration and other responsibilities, Mike develops strategies that meet his clients’ internal requirements for real estate portfolio value. He also develops and delivers strategic corporate real estate plans incorporating real estate process and procedures manuals as well as including benchmark metrics and corporate space standards.
Prior to JLL, Mike served as Executive Vice President - Account Manager for multiple client accounts at UGL Equis where he managed leased and owned portfolios both nationally and globally. Mike was involved in domestic and international site selection, acquisitions, dispositions, sale-leasebacks and build-to-suits for a variety of transaction types including office, data center, lab & R&D, distribution, call center, retail, switching facilities and industrial leases.
Mike previously worked with Verizon and Atlantic American Properties (a Lazard Freres private REIT) providing national real estate brokerage representation for various telecommunication subsidiary companies. In this role, he successfully negotiated transactions involving plus 2,000,000 s.f. He has also held positions as the Business Manager of Brokerage Services with GMH Realty, Senior Associate within Price Waterhouse Coopers real estate consulting practice, and Real Estate Lender with Wells Fargo Bank.
