L. Michael Mills is the principal and founder of K. C. Office Realty, and operates out of Overland Park, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. K.C. Office Realty specializes in providing Real Estate Services to clients with office requirements in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.
Mike has focused on developing solutions for office clients for over twenty-three years while negotiating over 1200 transactions. Mike’s commercial real estate career started with the representation of the Landlord, MetLife, in a 294 acre, 2 million square foot office development. In 1991 he started working for the largest Brokerage firm in Kansas City, Cohen-Esrey Real Estate Services. While at Cohen-Esrey he honed his office skills and represented many well known institutions.
While at Cohen-Esrey Mike was the proud recipient of several awards which recognized his professionalism for achieving the highest level of client satisfaction, the Chairman’s Award for production of over one million dollars in commission volume, the Silver Award for being the company’s second-highest producer in 2002 and 2004 and several Bronze awards for being the third highest producer. Mike is a life member of the Metropolitan Kansas City Board of Realtors and has qualified for Multi Million Dollar Club awards since 1985.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Emporia State University. He enjoys spending his time with his two grown sons, bicycling, tennis, yoga, and working out at the gym.
