Michael Merrill is an Associate Broker with Sotheby’s International Realty, representing clients worldwide. His vision is to provide knowledge and information on real estate market trends to the global community, assisting in real estate equity management for all property types.
Since 2011, Michael has proudly built his real estate career client by client, referral after referral. Over the course of his career, Michael has worked in many facets of real estate including Luxury Residential, Commercial Multifamily, Industrial, and Retail/QSR. His persistence, work ethic, wealth of knowledge, and integrity have earned him a crystal clear reputation in the industry. A majority of Michael’s business comes from repeat clients or referrals from satisfied clients. Michael enjoys working with a variety of American and international clients that include developers, brokers, institutional investors, family offices, and private clients. Michael’s clients especially value his consulting when circumstances arise that require professional real estate advice and strategy such as evaluation of investment opportunities, widespread market trends, marketing & advertising, creative financing, and hard-ball negotiations.
Despite the extraordinary challenges of the pandemic, Michael has continued to evade hindrances and reach new milestones. Between 2022 and 2023, Michael achieved a landmark milestone by contracting and managing nearly $150,000,000 in commercial and residential assets. Michael has completed projects, ranging from single family residential build-outs to large scale industrial and commercial projects with construction costs upwards of $20M.
Michael is currently working to help clients, who have built up enormous amounts of equity in their properties, sell now and take advantage of dramatic price increases.
