Michael Makris was born and raised in Garden City, NY. After graduating from Towson University in 2011, Michael spent eight years in the media industry with key positions as companies like the NBA, Showtime and CBS. Beginning as a Marketing Account Executive, Michael rose to the position of Assistant Director and Eventually Executive Producer. Having joined DY Realty Group in 2019, Michael has immersed himself and quickly learned the NYC outer-borough commercial real estate market. With a focus on industrial real estate and development in Brooklyn and Queens, Michael has also negotiated and closed deals in the office and retail markets.
